Upon scheduling your first session, I will e-mail you a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q). This questionnaire is to be filled out and returned prior to your first session. The type of questions are related to body type, activity level, chronic conditions, current medications, occupational activities, and goals. These questions will help me to create a health profile that I can use to tailor your workout program.
During our first session, I will perform a physical assessment to learn more about your cardiovascular and muscular strength. Here, I will be able to spot compensations and areas of weakness. This will help when creating your fitness program.
After learning about you from the PAR-Q and evaluating you during our first session, I will design a fitness program based on a 3 day per week split. This program will involve body-weight, free-weight, and stability challenging exercises; all depending on the resources we have at our disposal.
Your training program will be designed to improve flexibility, cardiorespiratory strength, muscle strength, and core stability. Results will be obtained in a rapid, but safe manner. You may have a wedding in 8 weeks, but I also want you to look and feel good 8 years later! That is why I will work with you to make appropriate lifestyle changes and see to it that personal training is a continuous journey to improve yourself.
